How to review and approve a calibration
At Northwind Precision's Galway plant, a pin gauge was out of tolerance as found, and was adjusted. It only counts once a second person approves.
Steps
- Overview → waiting for approval
Start on the Overview and open the calibration that is waiting for approval.
- Review the result
Read the measured values and what was found.
- Approve with your password
Choose Approve and confirm with your password. That is your signature.
The calibration now shows who approved it and when.
Good to know: Approvals
- Review a calibration to see what was submitted, then approve it by signing with your password, or reject it with a reason.
- Several can be approved with one signature.
- Which calibrations need approval is chosen in Settings.
