What each page of GageMakkal is for, and how to get the most from it. In the app, “Help for this page” opens the same text.
- OverviewWhere calibration stands today: how many pieces are in date, due soon, overdue or not to be used, and what comes due in the months ahead.
- A piece of equipmentEverything about one piece: what it is, where it is kept, who looks after it, when it is next due, how it is calibrated, and every calibration and certificate it has had.
- EquipmentEvery piece of measuring equipment, with its status and when it is next due. Search by asset ID, serial number, barcode or type, and narrow the list by status or site.
- ScheduleWhat is due for calibration and when, as a list or as a calendar, so work and collections by a supplier can be planned ahead.
- ApprovalsCalibrations that wait for a second person. Until one is approved it does not count: the due date stays as it was.
- Calibration historyEvery calibration recorded in the organization, newest first: the piece, the date, the result, who did it and the certificate.
- CertificateThe certificate of one calibration that you issued yourselves: the piece, the readings, the standards used and who signed.
- Equipment typesOne per make and model. A type holds what its pieces start with: who calibrates them, how often, and the procedure. Set it once; every piece follows unless it is given its own value.
- Calibration suppliersThe labs you send equipment to and the companies that come on site. An equipment type names its usual supplier, and each calibration records who did it.
- Calibration formsFor calibrations you do yourselves: what is measured, at which points, and the limits each reading must stay within. With a form on an equipment type, recording a calibration asks for the readings and works out pass or fail.
- LocationsWhere every piece is kept: the areas, rooms, cells and stores inside each site. The plan draws itself from them.
- TraceabilityThe reference standards your own calibrations are made with, and measuring systems whose parts are only usable together.
- PeopleWho can sign in, and what each person may do: Owner, Admin, Member or Viewer, for the whole organization or for one site.
- Your profileHow you appear to colleagues in this organization, and how you sign in. Only you change it; your role and teams are set by an Owner or Admin.
- TeamsGroups of your own people at a site. A team says whose equipment something is and who is told about it; what a person may do stays with their role. A calibration supplier is not a team.
- SitesThe plants or offices of the organization. Each piece belongs to one site, and people see the sites they were given.
- SettingsThe organization’s name and logo, time zone and date format, and how calibration works here: the usual interval, when a piece counts as due soon, which calibrations need approval, and whether you number your own certificates.
- Audit logWho did what and when: every sign-in, every change to a piece, every calibration recorded or approved. It cannot be edited.
